| With a varied menu and the taste of the Island’s typical food, the seafood is very well served in different ways such as grilled, au gratin, fried, boiled or as a side dish of a plate of pasta. For those who have restrictions on seafood there are meat and chicken options as well. Here the idea is to savor the flavor of each food, since according to Chef Fedoca “the seasonings shouldn’t take over the flavor of the seafood, meat or chicken”.
The specialties of the house are the famous “Fedoca’s Moquecas”, differentiated from the others by the lack of a typical Brazilian herb called “coentro”. They are made with fish, shrimp, squid, mussel, octopus or a mix of them. There’s also a special Moqueca made with “cavaquinha” which is a delicious kind of lobster found in the deep ocean of the Island of Santa Catarina.
